hits hard. calum’s trying so hard to keep it together for sophie. i’d say it seems a lot hasn’t turned out the way he planned but it doesn’t even feel like he planned to make it this far. “i can’t see myself at forty to be honest. i’m surprised i made it to thirty.” i’d like to think she’s the reason he kept it moving. his most confident moments are reminding her she can be anything, do anything, tell him anything. mark was the same. sophie’s a wise kid. seems she turned out alright too.

Bobby’s a mess yet a slow Chopin cover, conversation with Catherine, and the moment towards the end in the field let you know this guy is lost, torn up.
Ray’s a tragic story; She’ll have nightmares about this guy. I hope she kept singing.
Elton gives advice like an honest family man but he’s robbing reservations and cheating.
The point is this movie crushes multi-dimensional characters and I liked it.
