  The costume design had me foaming at the mouth Jesus Christ… I don’t have a lot to say about this because I’m not that into the sci-fi genre but this was an overall pleasure to watch. Very visually pleasing and it’s always great to see the kings Javier Bardem and Oscar Isaac on screen. This also may have had me turn a new leaf on timothee chalamet. Interested to see how part 2 holds up.

  As much as I appreciate everything Wes Anderson has done with film, I’ll have to say that this one was a tiny bit of a let down. I had a hard time remaining completely interested after the first story and I was underwhelmed by the actors performances. Few positive takeaways: It was great seeing Algerian actress Lyna Khoudri on a big production, Tilda Swinton (as usual), Lyna Khoudri, Francis McDormand, and Benicio del Toro’s performances were great.
