I feel movies with important messaging tend to lack subtly nowadays. The conversation of the ageism and objectification of women in Hollywood is important but there was no nuance when it came to this movie. The gore didn’t add much either. IMO, much of the love from this movie comes from the love of the main actresses but in all, the writing and plot were not well done.
