The Gray Man 2022
Essentially a Marvel movie without super heroes. Pacing is poor, character development leaves much to be desired, and the color grading is bland. The camera work feels unexpressive while the action shots are too chaotic to see what is happening. The dialog is just sarcastic quips with little emotion.
Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas do the best they can with what they got.

Overall an entertaining story about a girl, a chair, and a cat, but lacks emotional depth.
The story had themes of familial trama, but each point brought up felt shallow and not fleshed out. There is a particular scene in which some pretty foul stuff is said and then just not really addressed. The plot very much feels like a “and then this happened” story instead of a chain of linked events.
