Call Me by Your Name 2017
You know what, when I watched this film a few years ago, I was a little disappointed, I have since read the book and can say that the book is far better than the film, the visuals of the film are honestly one of kind and the soundtrack is unmatched, I think the book does a better job of showing Elio obsessive fascination of Oliver and every small detail of his emotions were spread across multiple pages which I think wasn’t properly captured in the film.

Barbie 2023
Wasn’t my favourite film.
Although there was a deep message through out, I would’ve preferred they went deeper into the history of barbie and how it relates to women’s liberation.
I was glad to see the call backs to vintage barbies though. I also enjoyed the ironic and satirical humour.
