A bit of a mixed bag!
The positives:
- This move gives Robert Pattinson so much space to be completely unhinged and that rocks.
- The creatures are very cool.
- There are some great scenes and montages in the first act, and when it works well it's so much fun.
The negatives:
- Feels like it gets in over its head with how many plot lines it tries to juggle and ultimately devolves into a messy second half.
