It Chapter Two 2019
this was not good. dialogue is ropey, half the ensemble can’t act and even the heavy hitters miss the mark. chastain and bill hader both come off as corny because of the script (they’re great actors there’s just not much you can do when your climax line is ‘let’s kill this fucking clown’). the only one who seems to pull through is mcavoy, mainly because his lines aren’t as confrontational. overall, it was fun to make jokes with my cousins while it played but in all not my favorite.
