I think the only thing really bugging me about this, outside of not knowing enough about apartheid to truly understand the parallels, is the timeline of the movie. Twenty years and they haven't cracked open and reverse engineered the weapons, the mechs, chunks of the ship? There aren't prawn working for the government operating their own weaponry against their own people? Some details also bug me, like the complete lack of anesthesia being used/re-administered at any point in the research…

Christmas with a Prince 2018
I watched this with my sister and our friend in a shed the week before Christmas in 2021. I don't see that friend anymore, our lives just went in different directions. But of all the things we watched in that renovated nook around the block, this was by far the funniest... THING, period. Contrived, stupid, nonsensical, but honestly, watch it. If you've got the right people, it'll be hilarious.
P.S. I'm sorry I didn't water your flowers while you were on vacation.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
Is it as tight and focused as the last film? No. Is it still amazing? Absolutely. It surpasses in visuals, depth, and tone, and it's absolutely worth seeing on a big screen. Almost every frame of this film is it's own piece of art. Here's to hoping they can stick the landing on the third film.

I love this movie. Right off the bat, I want to make this clear. Despite gripes and clear issues that prevent it from being that high of a rating, I would gladly watch this movie again and ignore everything wrong with it. I'll start with the issues.
