    Casey Affleck’s performance is one to remember.

    The film is beautifully written and captures the hardship of grief, family conflict and empathy. Lee’s dealing with his kids death is brought back up, however he’s has the responsibility of his nephew. This focus saves him from a really dark place.

    A truly remarkable performance by Brendan Fraser. He captures the emotion of a grieving partner and a distant father.

    His positivity remains throughout and shows that when all hope is lost, being positive about others is still possible. The final scene capitulates the movie in one moment, a single moment of strength around the one person he truly cares about.

    Not quite sure what I have just watched regardless I was gripped.

    It gave Call me by your Name vibes in the first part, being in love with the handsome guy etc. Then Baz turned freaky like really freaky - I have some many questions about his character:
    Why did he have sex with a grave?
    Why did he mount a dying women?
    How was he so seductive?

    Also I just don’t get why they can’t cast characters who are…

    I felt like Capitan Hook, by they way it hooked me in from the start. They way it was told was enthralling. Oh and what a cliffhanger, never seen anything hanging that well since I hung my Versace suit up in my wardrobe last night.
