  So infuriating how close to a perfect movie this is. It’s like right there aside from a few laughably badly written/acted scenes. But the stuff that lands (99% of the movie) LANDS and hits like a punch with the power of a thousand suns.

  Mickey 17 did not disappoint. It starts off with a bang of an intro and the result is an unforgettable odyssey with a lot of comedy but also splices of darker elements that’ll simultaneously crack you up and make you think deeply about our existence in a capitalist society.

  I LOVEDDDD this a lot man the performances were so hilarious and tense at the same time. The camera itself is a character in Rope, illustrating thoughts without words in brilliant and subtle ways. The one take decision is so gripping and the story is a thrilling slow burn with a satisfying conclusion that had my jaw drop. So ahead of its time. Really can’t think of anything wrong with this film.
