would not rewatch. seems like someone asked AI to describe ‘a movie’ and built the plot off of that.
character design + set, awesome. acting good for the most part (star studded cast after all), not a big fan of MBB i find her quite 2D.
none of the characters had any depth to them, the plot was boring and recycled.
i did like “i think… i need to die” and the random love confession from chris pratt thought both were very funny
fuck this movie scares the ever loving shit out of me
very enjoyable. i am a big timotheé fan so i liked that. i liked the chcooate shop part it was fun. i RLY liked the refrences to the OG, specifically when timotheé bites the cup, and when hugh grant holds the cup which is the same as the OG. i liked the world of pure imagination tribute. also the actors were very good quite a few british treasures in there (cough cough horrible histories). most of the songs were… good? i’m not actually a musical fan at ALL so… but it was defo watchable!! and mostly fun.
