  A pseudo-intellectual mystery/creature flick

  Having read good things about the movie, I didn't expect it to be this dumb and simplistic.

  The concept is definitely great, characters likeable, but felt like nothing much happens in the movie. As if the script was just two pages long. Also, it felt like at the end, the movie turned from a good mystery/horror into a cheesy (& pseudo-intellectual) monster flick.

  I wasn't prepared for the chaotic disintegration....

  I wasn't expecting such a dreadful experience. This movie is almost a masterpiece for the state it put me into during much of is runtime. It's wildly absorbing style just put me into a state of trance. This is the opposite of Isle Of Dogs (2018) style which had static images masquerading as a movie. Maybe I'm personally in favour of this kind of presentation.
