I hate when movies spend the entirety of it just building up for the characters to meet only to spend the last 2 minutes of it to see them finally get together 🫠 it pisses me off

The Ninth Gate 1999
Ya’ll don’t actually know how to hold rare books and it’s painful to watch, the overall premise of the story is quite good, for some reason I was intrigued by it and never bored. (Maybe cause I’m staring at early 2000s Johnny Depp, but I digress ) Not terrifying though?
