  Not as impactful as Battleship Potemkin but this film also includes some of the best shots I've seen in cinema, and the scale of Eisenstein's vision does not cease to amaze me. The final battle and all the shots in between are woven in a really poetic way.

  It was also Eisenstein's first sound film.

  "Remember the battle, and tell your children. For if you forget, you'll be a second Judas[...]"

  Eisenstein definitely carries out his duty of keeping this…

  Absolute masterpiece, incredible editing, includes some of the craziest shots I've ever seen on film. I now understand why everyone keeps talking about this film when talking about cinema.
  10/10 take this as a sign to finally watch this and get it off your watchlist.
