Dune: Part Two 2024
The visuals, music, and action is this movie are top tier. Chani is the only reason this movie isnt 5 stars. They tried to make her this rebel independent woman who sees the bigger picture but she literally doesnt. Only Paul does and she knows this so i dont understand her griping and complaining and annoying defiance like she knows whats happening.

The first time i watched this i fell asleep, then i watched Pt 2 and went back and watched part 1 and it was much more interesting. Then i read the book and watched part 1 again and its even more interesting. Perfectly builds this world’s intricate politics to set up part 2.

Dunkirk 2017
Very intriguing plot, well told, and left a lot up to the viewer to piece together, which I appreciate. The timelines in the movie are slightly confusing, which is typical for Nolan of course, but it loses half a star for being confusing at several points as to which timeline it was currently in. But the cast and acting was great, even Harry Styles.
