Top Gun: Maverick 2022
One of the best action movies in the past decade that showcases some of the most skillful and challenging cinematography I’ve ever seen with all new tech not previously available which is why such a sequel took so long to make. I was blown away with the visuals, but also the surprisingly impeccable script which takes our characters through a whirlwind of a story. A sequel that didn’t NEED to get made, had everything stacked against it, but soared past all obstacles to give us one of the best sequels ever made.

Arrival 2016
I saw this in theaters opening night and my jaw has not left the floor since. Every single time I put this filmon I find something new I never noticed or relive the same excitement I had on opening day. Some of the best writing, cinematography, and directing on display here. This is one of my favorite movies I’ve ever seen and if you haven’t given it a watch I highly recommend it as it is a mind bender!
