Such a charming and loving movie. Popeye’s character in this movie is fucking awesome and Robin William(rest his soul) killed as Popeye. The comedy in the movie is amazing, something modern live actions should know of. The settings in the movie feel lived in and the movie has immense amounts of charm and delightfulness. Shelly Duvall’s(rest her soul) Olive was as good as William’s Popeye. The playfulness she exudes is lovely and the romance between the two is palpable. I love this movie, fuck you if you don’t.
