Hereditary 2018
Amazing performance from Toni Collette - definitely oscar worthy in my opinion. The plot of the film is a little f*cked up but its definitely interesting. It touches on themes of mental illness, greif, motherhood, reality vs imagination, and the film perhaps may be an allegory or metaphor. It makes us question what parts are real or just a schizophrenic episode. I haven't really quite seen another horror movie like it and the directing is brilliant.

not a bad horror movie and had a few good jump scares. had me running up the stairs at night thinking something was behind me lol. it was just fucking creepy and it was probably the third creepiest film I've seen within the last 2 years. well directed by Savage.
it plays on the common instinctive & primal fear of the dark - everyone has it whether you are a child or an adult.
