Superhero movies should be camp! This was so fun. I loved the style, the costuming, the supporting characters, the dumb dog and the football hold of that ugly baby. Felt like what superman should be and has me excited for Gunn’s DC. 
I am proud that a blockbuster film condemned Israel and I understand the ‘war’ was commentary and written to promote conversation, it also felt a little trivialised and minimised. Gave me mixed feelings. However, Nicolas Hoult did a great job as Lex and I feel like a proud mum whenever I see him on screen.

Very ‘pink pussy hat’ coded, empty feminism is just ugh. Still some cool fight scenes, made me want to learn martial arts. Flamethrowers cool.
Wasn’t emotional drawn to the story or any of the characters except John.

Over the top deaths are crazy in this. Movie sucked tho

I like just being able to enjoy a Marvel film for the fun of it, not the end of the world, no multiverse just some bros being pals.

I really liked this movie (thanks Jack Quaid) but my biggest takeaway was that I need more movies to be 90min, it’s just perfect.

Hate to come away from this appreciating a man but I do appreciate Jack Quaid’s dedication to play shitty boyfriends.

Also, will watch any horror movie Sophie Thatcher appears in.

I was so complexed by all the rave reviews I was hearing about this movie so I decided to watch whilst cleaning my room. My room did not get clean, this movie is such an unexpected bop. I had no idea what I was going into.

Both Lily Rose Depp and Bill Skarsgard look like they were created in a lab by Tim Burton only to escape from their master to go do freaky shit elsewhere, à la ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’.

Anyway, a very Eggers movie 👍🏼
