  Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 2023

  From the start I got nervous seeing the horrible looking de-aging effect in the opening sequence, not to mention 80 year old harrison ford's voice makes for this uncanny valley effect. My fears were unfortunately confirmed from here.

  I understand suspension of disbelief, but some of these injuries characters bounce back from are so over-the-top I have to just throw my hands up.

  Plot points that feel contrived simply to set up action scenes and unlikeable new characters make for a movie I can't recommend. Please let this series die.

  Such a charming movie, Wes Anderson really comes into his own as a director and writer in this film. All of the characters are so distinctive from each other, that coupled with the dry humor make for a super entertaining, great movie.

  Really liked this movie a lot. Loved the setting and the performances from all the actors in this movie. Some wonderful transitions too. Robert Eggars is no doubt one of the best directors working right now. I'd give this a 7.9 out of 10

  I know this movie's been getting a lot of flack, and honestly I can see why. Every year I watch it the animation becomes more noticeably outdated. My nostalgia bias still makes me like this movie though. Still really like a lot of songs and the score. Tom Hanks is great as a helluva lot of the characters in this movie.
