clearly watched this for the plot
the production design and costumes would convince me to be a 50s housewife. the cinematography was stunning.

i need to know if harry styles actually enjoys acting? His accent is just horrendous, for a singer he has absolutely no tonal flexibility. There is no journey, objectives or actions when delivering his lines. And when sharing a scene with Florence Pugh…
Olivia Coleman honestly stole the show. She was amazing.
Entertaining and absolutely hilarious, however the storyline was very very predictable. I did think the film was gonna have more to it.
Some parts of the film felt very contemporary, the script, the fact her bob was perfectly cut and styled the whole time, some of the actors had definitely seen an Iphone and it’s was generally very colorful for post war.
The creativity of the insults were immaculate. It was a joy in itself to watch my dad listen to them, considering he flinches when i say shit.
This was slow, boring, repetitive and predictable while copying every other explorer / action / quest storyline.
why did they re-cast the mum, i need to know the drama!!
I think what made the first Paddington so great was also relatability of Brittish things (especially in London) , which there was none because it was in Peru.
They completely missed a trick with the airport/plane scenes. Instead it was poorly edited.

The Ronettes were actually jaw-dropping and all vocals in the film were pretty immaculate.
Costume and set dressing was lovely, the flower shop felt so homely.
