The Prestige 2006
Spoilers: Loved the entire movie until the ending. The clone and twin thing just seemed like too easy of a way to explain everything.
Better ending would’ve been if Angier (Hugh Jackman) was Fallon the entire time and he had framed Bourden (Cristian Bale) with his own murder by drowning his own body double (Root) during the final trick. Bourden would find out that Angier was Fallon before being executed at the end hence Angier “winning the game”.
Would’ve been a much more grounded in reality ending and a better twist imo.

Manchester by the Sea 2016
Great acting all around especially from Casey. Very sad. Probably don’t need to watch it again. Think the director and cast nailed what they were trying to accomplish with this but I only gave it 3.5 because it’s not really an enjoyable movie to watch. So depressing. Might take a swan dive off the Zakim after this one
