This film struggles with its narrative, it feels like the writers were constantly asking “what else can we do”, the songs are so bland and unmemorable, the editing is all just fades to the next seen like they just finished watching the prequels, Zoe Saldana has a great performance but that’s about the only positive, the film focuses on such a important and big subject matter but all in all feels like it has very little to say about it, feels very bland. I don’t know how it managed to get 13 Oscar nominations
