The Return 2024
I really enjoyed this.
Choosing limit the scope to 'the return' of Odysseus rather than his adventures focuses the theme, and it's also framed in a way that sidelines the themes of a Glorious homecoming, revenge and reclaiming if power.
Instead we see a story of a family crumbled by absence, reflected in the kingdom they rule. We see Odysseus' shame at his absence and exploits during and after the war and being forced to confront his changed character.
