While the special effects are astounding and the music (both the score by Alan Silvestri and the soundtrack) is spectacular, The Electric State suffers from a plot that shows about the same emotion as a robot, underdeveloped characters, and a script full of clichés and plot holes.
NETFLIX: Don't cry, viewers. Uncle Netflix's got enough money to bring you some of the most expensive movies ever made to feed you for your entire life. Jerry! Get me $320 million for The Electric State ASAP! Boy's hungry!
