This is a great movie with some incredible dialogue between Tony and Dr. Shirley. I really like how as their relationship evolves it comes from understanding each other better but also finding out things about themselves through each other. The scene where the two are arguing in the pouring rain in Alabama might be one of the best scenes of the past 10 years. Nothing else to call this except a fantastic movie. Once again, another “based on real events” film ranking very high.
Interesting film for sure, I’m a sucker for “based on true story” movies but this one falls a little flat for a gangster movie.
If you’re asking yourself what is better than having one gangster played by Robert De Niro, the answer is not two. It was a cool idea in theory but I felt at certain points when they were both on screen it was hard to know who was who without being a few sentences into conversation.

All around good movie with an exceptional cast. Steve Carell might have the best comedy movie mannerisms of all time
A fun movie that to me showed Glen Powell in a less serious role, which he did well in. Plot of the movie is everyone is terrible and manipulative. For heavens sake folks just have a conversation with each other. Id be lying if I said I didn’t like the movie but there is better in the same vein of movies
