  it left me with a bittersweet sensation. Three women each facing their own difficulties. I loved the cinematography; especially the last scene, combined with the soundtrack, was deeply touching.

  I was persuaded to watch the film by its good reviews, but honestly it didn't touch me to the extent that i expected.
  Begining with the positive aspect of the film, the director has the ability to capture the Texan atmosphere and make you feel like you participate in the film's road-trip adventure. He's doing so by using the deserted landscapes and rural towns of Texas alongside the characteristic western-type music. The scenes where the parents are in different rooms…

  The Boy and the Heron 2023

  Kinda disappointed because i LOVE LOVE LOVE Ghibli animation. Unfortunately, the boy and the heron didn't manage to capture me both emotionally and aesthetically, but only the latter. It felt like the story was missing something that would make it meaningful and the ending was rushed and abrupt. Probably my least favourite project from the studio that I've watched so far :/
