  A movie that judges its protagonist harder than it judges the systems that oppress her, while actively contributing to those systems. “How terrible!” It says “that the entertainment industry is so obsessed with youthful women’s bodies!” And then they zoom in again on the perfect asses of all the 20-something-year-old actresses they hired for the film.
  “But the real villain, Ladies, is OURSELVES for buying into this corrupt system because we want - get this - JOBS!” 
  Self-deprecating. Hypocritical. Disappointing.
