  That ‘vampire scene is gonna stick w/ me a while.

  Anyway. The first 3/4ths of the film are aesthetically alluring & charismatically just  charming enough to feed you & make you smirk only, in sum, disaffected by any of the characters (& the way they are acted) & wondering how Fennell was pleased enough w/ the final cut to call it a day & end his latest entry w/ such a paltry, disappointing ending

  Delicate, riveting once again - ‘Jackie’ & then this..what’s next? Let us have Joan of Arc; everything tells us Larrain may be our last chance to revisit the Maid of Orleans — w/ proper due-diligence owed to Dreyer & Bresson — for a very long time..

  If you’re familiar w/ Tesla the man & you are not a linear thinker, then this is one of the better movies of the year, imo. Short of that, it’s a patently original, fun take on the biopic w/ some visual feats—a jumpy examination of the inventor & prophet, under the autistic lens he saw the world through himself...this will, of course, frustrate some neuro-typical audiences
