Watching this for the first time right now was a little eerie, all things considered. That being said, this cast was STACKED like a million dollar pancake stack at IHOP. And yet, everybody had their moment to shine and in the roles they were ever so encapsulating. Anne Hathaway coming in for 20 min and snatching an Oscar. I mean she ate. I know this is historical nonfiction, but I wish it had a better ending. Long story short, I think we should revolt and sing angry men whilst we march for the capitol. Just a thought.

Cabaret 1972
Seeing it in person was a little more thrilling as the twist building really makes it. Plus it’s such a universal experience to be seeing it in a theater club like it was produced. That being said both Liza and the hot men, who are the original challengers, ate this role up. And of course, the music that still haunts us to this day. Iconic.
