I love Bong Joon-Ho so much, I’ve yet to see a film of his that wasn’t a banger.
Go watch this NOW
I used this for a date and I’m definitely glad I did because it was either this or The Brutalist.
I went in with no expectations, and was pleasantly surprised, it’s not the greatest movie ever. It’s fine.
Timothy did a surprisingly good job.
It’s a fine movie to pass the time, definitely not oscar worthy tho.
This movie is giant, it feels enormous, it has good build up, I think the characters are interesting, the concept is interesting and of course the however.
This movie suffers from so goddamn boring, it’s so slow, and while I am hoping that the sequels will make use of all the tools established in this film, this movie is really a set up movie that unfortunately as a standalone falls apart. Comparatively Star Wars A New Hope is a great standalone movie as well as a fantastic set up film, this falls too short of that.
