  On a technical level this is an extremely well made film. The cinematography was phenomenal, particularly the scene where the criminals are first breaking in and the camera going all throughout the house. The story is extremely solid as well. I loved how at first Jodie Foster’s character and her daughter are helplessly trapped and the burglars having a clear advantage over her to them being stuck in the panic room and Jodie Foster is trying to get in.   Enjoyed my time with this. Solid comedy and wasn't overly cliche. Fun concept and there were never any frustrating parts. I felt Vince Vaughn's character on a spiritual level in regards to his romantic interest towards the crazy sister. Overall just a good comedy, wouldn't mind watching again.

  Pure Reagan propaganda film. Some good moments, but acting was extremely corny overall. Really breezed past the Iran-Contra affair and didn’t really portray it factually and was extremely biased towards Reagan. Knowing this, it makes me question a lot of the authenticity of the movie.
