Definitely out there. Themes on morality, religion, and politics were symbolized abstractly and sometimes a little over the top. Felt like an intertwining of Arrival and Altered Carbon with the sci fi. Thought the story jumped around but came together with flashbacks and a dream sequence. Some of the scenes were too drawn out for me with the amount of dialogue but I thought the acting was solid overall, especially from Pattinson and Ackie. An entertaining film that deserves a rewatch.
