The Lighthouse 2019
It’s amazing how they do so much with so little. The box frame aspect ratio, the black and white, only having two actors, one location. And yet, it’s almost perfect. Two really is the loneliest number since the number one. Actors were great with Pattinson being the standout. So much was left to interpretation and not sure who was lying and who to trust. A modern classic.

Nosferatu 2024
An eerie and haunting atmosphere with excellent performances with Depp being the standout. All in an all a hauntingly beautiful horror movie. The costumes and sets really take you back in time and the acting is strong from all the cast, no one feels out of place. It was a little slow in some parts for my taste. I love how this movie sets itself apart from the Dracula story.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 2024
The way they keep this franchise going on this upward quality level is a masterclass in franchise building. The actors are all on top of thier game with Jim Carrey being the standout performance. The effects and action scenes were incredibly well done. There was a scene near the end that took my breath away. Itching for more.
