    film is the most effective medium in being able to indelibly capture the utter humanity that exudes from the solidarity of the the families in the west bank, as well as the abhorrent absence of humanity in how these families are being systematically erased. brutal. i’m absolutely shattered. please do what you can to watch this, even though it’s hard to find and even harder to sit through without seething with anger.

    important story, important POV (non-western focused) and beautifully shot. felt like sometimes the story lulled and the big picture seemed to get lost, but i can’t really knock it. 

    the german youth seem to carry more guilt and weight of their ancestors atrocities than they rightfully should have to, but its important that enough people feel the need to make things right from their colonial past.
