  I rewatched this and came away with new realizations and perspectives. Oh, which is greater truly? Freedom or happiness? And I’m not going to blame Deok-im for all the decisions she made in her life because she didn’t had the agency to choose from the beginning of this story. The moment she told the king to pass her by if they crossed paths again in the next life, she knew she would make the same decisions, she knew. 

  This kdrama deserves to be watch over and over again.
