Gonna start off this review by saying this isn’t my kind of film and I probably wouldn’t have watched this but Liam wanted to and it is his bday so I acquiesced. I will say Lily rose depp slayeddd like I was v impressed by her in this. Aaron Taylor Johnson not so much sorry king. I’ve given 4 stars bc it was a cool and atmospheric film but the period vibes mixed with the general dramatics and jump scares were just not my vibe. If ur into that tho you’d probably love this

Such an important film everyone shld watch. Before the plot became utterly heartbreaking I was feeling so nostalgic. I thought the setting of a girls trip to malia to celebrate end of GCSEs was a perfect place to explore the themes of this film - the intricacies and power imbalances inherent in consent. Docking half a point bc I didn’t loveee the ending
