“she reached in, put a string of lights around my heart” 💕

i can’t describe how incredible this series is, the acting, the emotions, the storytelling, the visuals of it etc. you feel the guilt well up within you. 

i remember watching this series with my mom back in 2018 and hearing her gasp at the final moment, the final line was ringing in my mind the whole time i rewatched. 

so satisfying to watch and unwrap until the very end!!

idk what’s funnier the fact that my brother and i happened to watch this movie at the same time without prior discussion or the fact that i was fully convinced oliver ate that peach AND THEN HE DIDNT!!!!1!!!

things i loved:

- zendaya fujoing out
- the score
- the tension 
- zendaya

things i did not love:

- cringey beach convo, it felt very teen movie fake deep 
- some of the shots, there are multiple that felt very experimental/not necessary/out of character for the film

sobbing my eyes out every year for the past ten years, happy anniversary <3
