Dude sitting in front of me smelled like fish but I still enjoyed it
Couldn’t help but see the similarities to twin peaks, except rather than a fever dream it feels like a day dream and I love it for that.
Screened at cinema salem for free in memoriam of David Lynch. It took the audience like 20 seconds to start clapping after the credits started rolling.

My problem with the first one is that it was bordering on uninspired. Great performances from everyone but why would I ever watch it on a world where Taxi Driver exists? To me, this movie gave me the reason.
From the opening animation to the shock ending I disagree that the story ever felt shoehorned or even overly messy. The choice to limit so much of what we see of Gotham to Arthur’s imagination and the borders of Arkham, for example. …Translated from by
