  Beast movie. Tom Cruise crushes it and Hiroyuki Sanada has become one of my favorites with Shogun this past year. Zimmer cooks once again with the score here.

  Went in thinking it was a white savior type movie, but it really just pays a lot of respect to the Japanese culture and history.

  Say what you want and I’d usually say no live action remakes but I really thing this live action remake might really work for a couple reasons. It is not a Disney remake. It is human focused with no talking animals. Dragons are awesome.

  Also please use the soundtrack.

  Possibly best films of the year and absolutely one of the funniest of the decade and no emotion was sacrificed through the humor. Mikey Madison deserves her Oscar, she is amazing. I would die for Igor, and Ivan and the other guys are so damn funny as well. 5/5.
