Dances with Wolves has a lot of similarities with my favorite movie of all time, Lawrence of Arabia, so it’s no wonder I loved it.

Are about young military officers who don’t quite fit in back home, are given the opportunity to encounter a new, misunderstood land and people, become fluent in the local language, end up embracing and being embraced by the people of the new culture, and eventually are accused of “going native.”
