thought this movie was super epic and intriguing. loved all of the characters in this film. mama was very spooky and i liked her dungeon thingy. wish it gave more lore on mama and her upbringing like why is she a scary inhumane monster idek. i liked that it brokeaway and was super retro for a little while though that was cool. i also liked how justin long played a dickhead in this film very unlike him. ending was okay thought it was silly when mama was diving for the main character LOL. overall, a good movie imo

smile, had some spooky scenes unfortunately dont think it lived up to the hype as anticipated. main character ate though she did great. for whatever reason i didnt like joel thought he was kind of a bozo. didnt really understand the significance of her mother dying i guess to create some sort of "trauma" for the MC. decent movie at best
