Did I cry multiple times during this? Yes, but mind your business.
Honestly, the space and fanfic scenes carried this, in my opinion. Otherwise, it is a fairly surface-level coming of age for a large portion of the film and lost half a star for the ending.
Still, I would watch it again and am so glad this piece of media exists.

but in all seriousness, this movie truly captured emotions with such nuance that I don’t believe they can truly be captured by words alone. the pain, the anger, everything is so fierce without being overstated.
