  Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV 2024

  I read jennette mccurdy’s book a few months back and it was very insightful, as well as this show. I hope that memoirs and documentaries like these bring regulation and laws protecting children. 

  Side note: I hope this regulation extends to things like youtube and family vlog channels bc I have a feeling that a decade from now, youtube children will be coming around with similar experiences to these child tv stars.

  tbh I haven’t actually watched this movie, bc I know myself and I seriously wouldn’t be able to handle it, however I do have a fascination with it and the message it sends, so I’ve watched like 20 youtube video analyses about it and read a play by play of every scene in the movie and watched some of the scenes and I know exactly what happens. It’s my letterboxd I can do what I want.
