Its not the worst movie ever but this is Tubi original quality on a $60 million budget. But Snoop Dogg is there so the ticket cost ten bucks
Literally every element is bad. Visually, it's all close ups and montages cause they're too lazy to draw backgrounds. Every joke is something you've seen done better on loony tunes, like no exaggerating every single joke was unoriginal. The writing is generic talking animal movie #2079, and somehow GARFIELD is out of character. He's not exactly a complicated character yall 😭😭 also Chris Pratt sucks and I hope he burns

The Blackbird 1926
Classic Tod Browning. The story is pretty lean, but the melodrama parts are boring compared to the switcheroo plotline. The story here is foreshadowing The Unknown (the best of the Browning/Chaney collabs), and it's plenty dark and slimy on its own. Better than I remembered, still not great.

Ok but where’s the rising action? The extremely generic score is constantly intense, and the “woooshhhhh” sound effects stick around the whole movie. The first act has all those violins and wooshes…then eventually the bomb goes off, with a loud boom and bright lights…then there’s a 30-minute board meeting scene where the sound design is just as intense as a fucking nuclear bomb. The intensity hits the ceiling like fifteen…
