    Third time lucky?  In each 'version' of Spiderman there's always one part they get right and the rest falls short. This time it's the teen element; Peter Parker actually felt like a school kid. 

    The Marvel films are starting to become too attached to their own cinematic universe. With afew adjustments it could have worked as a stand alone film without the copious amount of Ironman cameos. 

    There were some nice Easter eggs from the comics overall it felt very... meh.

    Haven't seen the original anime so without knowing the full story, I feel the movie could have done with more mystery and suspense in the plot. 


    There are some nice set pieces and action sequences which make it watchable, although I kept wondering how it would have turned out if given to Nicolas Winding Refn with a higher certificate.
