“Look me in the eyes… LOOK me in the fucking eyes”.
I went in to this film with no expectations and I’m glad I wasn’t let down. This film has it flaws, but overall it works really well within its genre. And I’m glad I watched it.
Bettany is really good. His eyes scared me.
“They cluck their thick tongues, and shake their heads and suggest, oh so very delicately”.
Psycho is hands down a masterpiece of storytelling. Its imprint on film culture is ever so evident in modern movies.
The Parlour scene has some of the best dialogue ever seen in a movie.
The choice to film in black and white over colour is genius.
