Super stylistic, the camera work really made you feel like you were experiencing the horror and confusion alongside the characters. The visuals were awesome, and the actors really nailed their roles. Bill Skarsgard was fantastic, you could barely tell it was him. Some parts of the story felt a little dragged on, but overall, a very exciting take on the novel.

The dialogue was atrocious, it felt like an ai wrote most of it. It was so unrealistic that it started feeling like a comedy. I'll give it points for an interesting concept, and some of the characters were alright. Shit portrayal of a psychological disability, in true M. Night Shyamalan fashion.

I will give Shyamalan points for literally making an entire movie just to boost his daughters music career though. And she did make some bops, I won't lie.

Went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it, not even the genre, I hadn't watched a single trailer. It yanked me in so many different ways and I could not be happier. The visuals were stunning, the sound design was so eerie, the characters fit so perfectly in the world. I loved the messages and imagery throughout the film, really well thought out and well placed. The idea was so unique and interesting, I'll definitely be thinking about it for days to come. Overall, a truly terrifying and fantastic piece, I enjoyed every second of it.
