(500) Days of Summer 2009
How easy it is for a boy to convince himself he's in love. The dangers of over romanticisation realized through the delusion of a man. Watching the movie I began to realize that Tom is lowkey a psychopath, and then watching even more I realized I am lowkey Tom. At least I am self-aware though.
I thought the way that the story bounced back and forth throughout the 500 days was an interesting form of consumption that balanced the toxicity…
