  While at first i didn’t like it, and I’m not entirely sold on the end, this may have been the better of the 3 movies. I’m ngl, I think part of it is cause the actresses who played Deena and Sam were classic, sappy horror/slasher teens who didn’t really seem to have much true ability.   Sometimes simplicity is key and this is a prime example of that. While there are a few areas that could have been cleaned up, the intent of the film was clear, and it’s a beautiful piece of animation that doesn’t push itself much more above 1:30:00. The moments of joy always being quickly tainted by air raids or life in general is what makes it so perfect :)
